PetroPoint - introductionAdvantages • Quick and easy refueling Technical description This version of PetroPoint is aimed at large vehicle fleets and public/retail filling stations. The installation is very simple since each vehicle only requires one RFID-tag mounted at the tank inlet. Each nozzle is equipped with a battery operated nozzle unit that activates and reads the tag and then transmits the information to the receiver installed on the filling station. Properties • Vehicle identification Operation • The vehicle arrives at the filling station. When refueling is completed, the vehicle identity and the fuel information can be accessed by the back-office system.
PetroPoint RetailAutomatic vehicle recognitionCompletely wireless PetroPoint is a robust and well-proven system for automatic vehicle recognition based on RFID tags and wireless transmission of information. Simplified refueling The refueling process is unchanged except the there is no need for a plastic card. PetroPoint quickly relays relevant information wirelessly. If the refueling is authorised the pump will be released. As an additional option, the odometer reading or operating hours of the vehicle can be transmitted at the same time. Prevents fuel fraud Refueling can only commence if authorised via PetroPoint. If the vehicle cannot be identified (no RFID tag or unauthorised RFID tag), it is only possible to refuel by cash payment or by using a credit card. If the nozzle is pulled out of the tank inlet refueling will be stopped and will only recommence when the nozzle unit reader and the RFID tag have re-established contact. Prevents product mix In order to release the pump for refueling, the fuel type in the vehicle must be the same as the fuel type in the nozzle. This is automatically verified by PetroPoint preventing unwanted product mixes that can be very expensive! Easy and reliable installation The wireless technology allows the installation to be carried out easily and simply. The many reference installations on buses, trucks, cars, diesel locomotives, airport- mining and building vehicles have proven PetroPoint to be a reliable and secure solution for automatic vehicle recognition.

PetroPoint Fleet+Automatic vehicle recognitionAdvantages Technical description On each nozzle a unit is mounted that is a transmitter and as well a receiver. When this battery driven nozzle unit is close enough to an RFID tag, the encoded data is immediately read and relayed to the receiver mounted at the dispenser. Each tank inlet is equipped with a tag and a vehicle transmitter, which sends information about the odometer reading and driver ID, is installed in the driver cabin. Features Operation
