Reliability and performance (PD-meters)
The Wennstrom rotor meter originated in the 1980s and has since evolved into a reliable, high-performing on-truck meter for petroleum products. It has been successfully installed on vehicles throughout Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
The meter is manufactured in sizes DN65 (2½”), DN80 (3”) and DN100 (4”) and can be used for gravity and pumped deliveries.

The metered volume is recorded via our mechanical calibrator and shown on a numerical wheel register with large, easy-to-read digits. The register is fitted with a totalizer for continuous checking of registered volumes and can be reset by a knob on the side.

Design (PD-meters)
The meter consists of a cylindrical casing with an eccentrically mounted rotor which is rotated by the liquid pressure on the rotor blades.

The blades are mounted on a shaft extending through the centre of the cylinder and move in a radial direction through the rotor. Due to their concentric mounting, the blades never contact the cylindrical inner surface of the casing enabling the
rotor meter to operate very smoothly.
